WHAT WE DO
WHAT WE DOHome & Shore Vet provides flexible, in-home veterinary care for a wide range of conditions including ear infections, eye issues, allergies, lameness and more. We also offer euthanasia services in the comfortable setting of the home, along with aftercare options for your pet. We bring the high-quality care of a traditional vet to your door.
HOW WE DO IT
Our approach is to function like a mobile veterinary “urgent care”, for the times when your pet has a problem that is not a true emergency, but needs care as soon as possible to bring them relief. We bring the services provided in the traditional veterinary hospital to your home, typically scheduling visits within 48-72 hours.
WHERE WE DO IT
Servicing the Media, PA area during the traditional school year (Sept-mid June) and Ocean City, NJ during the summer months.
IN-HOUSE SERVICES
Full physical examination, diagnostics , and even abbreviated ultrasound can be performed. A treatment plan and medications will be prescribed at the visit.
RELATIONSHIPS
We can recommend excellent local veterinarians (both traditional “brick and mortar” facilities and house call vets) if your pet is in need of routine visits for vaccinations or a service we cannot provide such as radiographs or surgery.
DIAGNOSTICS
Lab samples are sent overnight to a national lab with results obtained in 24-48 hours. In-home microscopic evaluation can be performed for ear and skin issues.

MEET THE VET
Dr. Kelly Slattery’s lifelong love of animals is what inspired her to become a veterinarian. After a decade of experience in the field, she founded Home & Shore Vet as a way to continue providing high-quality care to patients during a time when in-home care is more comfortable and convenient for pets and their people.
