Dr. Kelly Slattery has loved two things as long as she can remember – animals and the beach. She grew up in Broomall, PA, attended Marple Newtown High School, and spent summers at her family’s beach house in Ocean City, NJ. She attended college and veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania, and has practiced as a small animal veterinarian in Delaware County since 2010.
In 2020, the challenges that came with raising three young children while working as a veterinarian during a pandemic made her rethink her career path, and the idea of Home & Shore Vet was born. She was determined to continue to do the work that she loves, to find a way to be there for her family, and to spend time both in Delaware County and at the beach. She felt that offering flexible in-home veterinary care visits would be the perfect solution. She loves meeting pets and their people who love them, and will work hard to give them the best care that they deserve in their most comfortable environment, home.
